The Pathways Project is creating an integrated model for creative arts education in Tasmania.
Our focus is on:
- Equity – establishing better, clearer and more efficient pathways into the creative arts sector for a greater number of students.
- Diversity – offering a broader and more integrated range of studio-based programs at all levels of study.
- Sustainability – providing 21st Century learners with the skills, knowledge and understandings they need in order to negotiate successful careers within the creative arts sector.
Our team is based in Hobart at the Centre for the Arts and works with primary, secondary and tertiary educators.
The Pathways initiative is a partnership between the University of Tasmania and Tasmanian Polytechnic, funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
